Drawing inspiration from the polar-white landscapes of the Arctic, Chong Yu of The One Academy, Esmod KL has conjured a collection of sublime pieces that are cooler than sub-zero and fit for a snow queen.
Combining extravagance and luxury, this fantastical collection features sumptuous fabrics such as fur and velvet. Bold colours of blue and purple hues dominate the colour palette evocative of enchanting auroras. Chong Yu adds a touch of whimsical to key pieces bringing to mind igloos of the Arctic.
“I was inspired by the many elements from the Arctic; like igloos, auroras and wild furry animals that live there,” said Chong Yu, when speaking with Red’s Revenge on this luxurious Fall/Winter 2021 ready-to-wear collection. “Prints featured on the pieces are a collage of wintery scenes,” he added.
